NEP 2020 focuses on the uses of Indian Knowledge in Paragraph 4.27 of NEP 2020 documents which makes teaching of Indian indigenous method used in ancient India and explored by our great mathematicians (from 3000 BC to 1500 AD) compulsory. The NCERT textbooks are designed keeping in view of the above changes where students will learn about Indian temples, its mathematicians and method used by them.
